Hello! My name is Janika and my foster family describe me as a very smart, inquisitive, sweet little girl. They think I may be part shepherd in my mix because my ears ears keep trying to stand up. I LOVE playing with her foster brother and sister and then cuddling with my humans when I am tired. I am learning how to walk on a leash and how to behave like a lady in the house. I am learning what are toys and what is to be left alone. Like a typical puppy - I love to chew. I really enjoy long lasting treats like collagen chews, gullet sticks, and puppy Nylabones/benebones are some of my favorites. I am working really hard on potty training and I am proud to say I am making great progress. My foster mama says I am awesome in her kennel. I may whine for a few minutes before I settle down and I am so proud to say that I’ve never had an accident in my kennel for up to 7 hours so far. I get along with everyone I meet and loves going on adventures. I am very interested in the resident feline (maybe a little too much for that cat's taste) but I am easily redirected, but I mostly want to sniff and play with the cat.
