Speckles checks off pretty much any box you can think of when it comes to finding the right pup. He loves to play with his stuffed squeak toys, enjoys fetching a ball in the yard (until he's done, then you can retrieve it yourself), and will spend as much time cuddled up to you as you'll let him.

While he's still just a puppy he's shown a lot of promise in being able to follow commands and we believe will be pretty easy to train (he's well on his way to mastering "sit"). He's very excitable and loves to play, but he also does well with being redirected if he's playing with things that aren't his toys or needs to be a little calmer.

Overall, he's just a very smart boy who is ready to learn the rules.

He's social and has taken to being around his foster sister really well. He is extremely intuitive and knows when his playfulness is being matched, and when he needs to take a step back and give space. We could see him shining in a home with other animals, or being a wonderful only child.

Speckles gets along swimmingly with our thirteen year old son. He's never lunged, bit, barked, or scratched him, or any of us for the matter.

He LOVES treats and is quite motivated by food and treats. If you're looking for the sweetest boy who is equal parts active and snuggly, you found him.
