Hi, I’m Rocky! I’m not as tough as my name sounds, I’m just a floppy, goofy puppy looking for my furever people! I’m a Texas native and still getting used to this cold weather. I am a sweet boy, and it has been said that I am very happy and goofy, with the softest fur and beautiful brown eyes! I love to come over and rest my head on your knee when you’re at your desk working or watching TV. I am very curious and I love to “help” with things around the house! I have a resident canine foster sister and I love to play and roughhouse, but I also know how to entertain myself with toys and chewing on bones. I am 99.9% potty trained …. the best part is that I have not had any accidents outside my kennel! I don’t mind going outside alone to the yard to go potty, or with my foster sister. To be honest, I am not a huge fan of the kennel at night, but I am getting better each day. When we settle in for the night, my foster mom puts on some sleep sounds and turns down the lights and I practice being in the kennel with lots of treats. When its time for sleep, I may cry and scratch a little, but a few mentions of “Rooooocky…..that’s enough”, and I know it's time for bed.

I also live with a feline sibling! I am curious, but with direction, I will let the cat pass by me and we even snuggle together! I am so smart that I already know how to sit and I am working on “down”, “leave it” and “come” and they tell me I am doing awesome! I will need guidance and boundaries since I tend to jump because I get very excited to see people and other dogs. Barking is not really my thing. My foster mom says that she is impressed because I don’t bark even though my foster family lives on a bit of a busy street with lots of foot traffic. I really enjoy watching the world go by by looking at the world’s biggest TV screen (know as the window). One of my favorite pastimes is to chase balls in the yard and race with his foster sister. My foster family will be sad when I leave for my forever home because I am their very first foster but I am looking to having a family to call my own!
