Hi I'm Riya and I'm 9 months old. My foster mama says that I am a very sweet, gentle, cuddly girl! When I first got to rescue, I was a bit shy and scared, but I showed my family that I warm up quickly and I was so ready for cuddles with these wonderful humans! I am very quiet and my foster family says they haven’t heard me bark once, even being outside when my foster siblings are barking at something. My foster mom says that I have a very cute loud yawn ! I am starting to come out of my shell and sometimes I initiate play with foster dogs! I am not crazy about going into my kennel, but all it takes is a treat. Treats are the secret to life (in case you didn’t know). Once I go into my kennel, I settle down and I’m very quiet. My foster parents let me sleep in my kennel in their room! I love being near them and I don’t make a peep! I am proud to say that I am almost 100% potty trained. I need to work with my human to help me give and just needs some direction on how to let you know when I need to go out. Maybe with treats, you can show me to ring a bell! I currently live two other dogs and two kids (10 and 12).
