Hi everyone!!!! My name is Rex, and I am 1 year old and just the goofiest thing ever! I came to the shelter when my previous owner passed away and there was no one to take care of me. I came very scared and shy of everything, but since coming to rescue and getting settled, I am doing so much better and am starting to let my personality shine. While I am one year old, I am still learning so many things. My foster mom says that I am so sweet and so respectful. I am also learning to play with my foster fur brother and that is fun. I really like dogs, and I hope to have a playmate in my forever home, but I would also be quite content being the sole dog. I am working on confidence building as well. There are things that will startle me, like tennis balls, but that’s just because they are new items to me. Once I discover that they aren’t scary, I am totally okay with them. I am curious of the cat that lives here, but I am super good when redirected to leave it alone. We are learning to co-exist in the same space. I am also learning to be good in my kennel. I do okay for the most part, but I am working on it. I only bark when I have to go outside to go potty, so I pretty much have the hang of that. All that I am looking for in life is someone who can teach me the ropes of being a model fur-citizen, give me tons of love and attention, and the comfiest place to sleep.
