Hello! I think my name is Quinn, although the lady keeps calling me Wiggle Butts or Licky Monster.

I am a perfect mix between a pittie and cattle dog. I am the best of both worlds! I love running. When given the chance, I liked to zoom around the entire yard and sometimes I jump and

I am around 3-years old so I don’t have the crazy puppy energy - in fact I enjoy settling down on the couch and catching some zzzzzzzz’s. I also like to nap in the kennel. I will wander in on my own just to snooze while the lady of the house works on her computer. She sure talks a lot and the best way to ignore her babbling is to nap!

I do well with other dogs and cats. However - I have initial stranger danger when I meet new people, which have made meet and greets hard for me. I do love people, but it takes time for me to build trust, especially with men. In my foster home, I am around a man and I love him!! My potential adopter need to understand that. It may take a week or two but then I will be your forever girl. I just need to find someone who will take a chance on me! I am potty and kennel trained. Sometimes I get a little vocal in my kennel and the lady says it sounds like I am trying to talk and sometimes even sing (signing like a human and not just singing the song of my people) and she says it sounds like I’m talking back to her! She swears up and down that one night she heard me say “I love you”.

Now a word from the foster mom: Quinn is such a sweet girl. She loves giving kisses and she loves being with her people. She wiggles her butt and it is so cute. She gets the zoomies inside and outside. Its so fun to watch her run. She has energy and loves to run around and she is great at guarding the house and the yard. If you live on a farm, that might be her ultimate dream.

If you want a running partner, she would be perfect for you. I would say she has the perfect amount of energy - she tires herself out and boy does she sleep good. She sleeps in her kennel all night, but I do think she would be just fine sleeping on the bed, but that is not for me to decide. I have let her nap with me a few times during the day and she enjoy cuddling right up to me.

She is shy when she meets new people, especially with men. She would probably do good in a home with a confident resident dog. I think having a doggie companion would help her build her confidence and she would love to have a play mate. She loves toys so much. She also loves bones (the frozen kind and Benebones).

Quinn is gaining in confidence as we work on training. Consistency, toys, treats and scritches behind the ears are key to helping her grow!
