Prince is a sweet, affectionate 6-year-old mixed-breed boy weighing about 50–55 pounds. He’s incredibly people-oriented and happiest when he’s close to his human—whether that’s sitting beside you on the couch or simply being in the same room.

Prince knows to sit, lay down, and stay. He walks fairly well on a leash, enjoys going for walks, and absolutely loves playing fetch with a ball. He is fully house and kennel trained. He has done well with other dogs, including at dog parks and while previously living with another dog (may prefer female dogs). He did really well with the children he lived with in his previous home. His experience with cats is unknown.

Prince can get a little excited when meeting new people and may jump up out of enthusiasm, but he settles quickly and responds well to correction. He thrives with routine, exercise, and companionship and would do best in a home where he can be part of everyday life.
