PENNY!!!
GOOD with dogs, GOOD with kids, GOOD with cats, NEEDS another dog in the home (male only)
Hi there! My name is Penny and I am 2 years old. When the coin of life was initially tossed, I definitely got the tail end of things, but then Unbreakabull heard about me and changed that. I was part of a hoarding case where quite a few animals were removed from a neglectful situation. We were living in cages and in our own filth. We had very little human contact, and we didn’t always know when our next meal would come. When I got to my fosters house, I was a very scared girl. I didn’t understand a loving touch, I didn’t understand all the sounds that I was hearing, and I was afraid of everything. I have been at my fosters for a few weeks, and I have come so far!!! I love going out for little walks on my leash, and I do so great on it, but I only want to do this for a short while and then I am done, but I don’t pull or anything! I love laying on the couch all snuggled in with my foster fur brother and just enjoying the good life. I need to be in a home where there is another dog, because I truly am learning to be a dog from my fur brother, and I absolutely love being around other dogs; they bring out my confidence. I am learning to play, but that is still a very odd thing to me, and I prefer to be a lazy dog. I didn’t know that dogs played with toys and people, and I am not a very active girl. When I got to Unbreakabull, they learned that I had Lymes disease. I was started on an antibiotic and told that I was going to be just fine. They said that there weren’t going to be any lasting effects and that I just need to get my kidneys checked yearly, but that the vet would know what to do about that, so I don’t have to worry about it. I am still working on liking my kennel. As you can imagine, when I finally got out of it and realized that I didn’t have to be in there all the time, I was not a fan of going back in it, but when I go in there, I get treats and told that I am a good girl, so it’s getting better. I have been left out in a room that is gated off, and I have done great, but we are still working on the kennel situation. Well, I’m going to run off and try this play thing again with my foster fur brother or maybe just take a snuggle on the couch. If you think that I might be your forever girl, head on over and fill out my application because from now on, every coin toss is always heads up!!!! Love always, Penny (UPDATED 06/04/20)
