Hello world! My name is Palmer. I am on the shy side but once I warm up to you, I will be your very best friend and shower you with love! My foster mom describes me as shy and I scare easily so I would probably do best in a quiet home. Fast movements can scare me so I would probably do better with older kids. Cats? I don’t really care about them and for the most part, I just leave them alone because they can be moody and elusive creatures. I may be a little nervous at first when I meet other dogs, but once I get to know them, they are my best friend. I don’t care if they are high or low energy. My foster sister likes to initiate play with me, but if I don’t want to play, I just ignore her until she gives up. I love to share my toys! I am not a fan of being along because I love you and I would rather be snuggled up next to you.

And guess what?!! I am potty trained! I may have a few little drops when I get scared though. My foster family is working with me to respect that little thing called “boundaries”. I just love to show my affection by giving kisses all over your face! My foster family says I am very sweet and calm. I may bark when I go into the kennel, but I settle down quickly.
