Hi, I am Miles! I am 2 years old, and I am beagle/pitbull mix. My foster mommy says I am the sweetest dog! I have an adorable overbite, so my nickname is Snaggle Tooth. My favorite past times include snuggling on the couch, tummy rubs, and chewing on pigs ears treats! I can be extremely scared with new people and situations and sometimes growl/ bark at first, but once I warm up, I am your loyal pup! My new owners need to understand that I need time and training to help me with my fears. I spend my days sleeping by my foster mom's feet while she works. I go potty outside, but I am not sure how to ask, so I do best if I am let out every couple of hours. I love my foster kitty sibling who snuggles with me, but I am scared of the one who uses claws when I get too close, so I give him his space. My foster parents don't have another dog right now, but when I met another dog, I was really scared and growled at her. Since I came from a house with other dogs, they think that with a slow introduction to a well socialized dog, I should be fine. I walk great on a leash, but need patience when strangers approach since I get scared. I am working on crate training, but am not a fan at night, so my foster mommy lets me sleep in her bed, and I sleep for 10 plus hours straight without a problem! Overall, I just want a home where I can have a person to call my own that lets me snuggle with them and gives me tummy rubs. I am working so hard on everything, but I just need time and patience for me to reach my full potential.
