Malcolm is an energetic 1 1/2 year old who will be the perfect companion for someone who can show him all the cool things there are in the world. He is very interested in his surroundings and enjoys going on walks and exploring. He is a polite dog who walks beside you while on the leash.

He knows how to "sit" and "stay" (for a little bit anyway) and loves to play fetch with his toys. Malcolm is an eager learner and loves to do training. He thinks maybe he should be the leader of the pack sometimes, so would do well with a very strong, experienced handler who doesn't let him slip into that role.

His ideal family will provide fun experiences, new things to learn, & lots of love for this wonderful dog. Malcolm does good in his kennel, but prefers to be with his people when they are home. Malcolm has also done very well with potty training. Because of his size and his learning manners, he should NOT be around children younger than 7.

Malcolm is a big boy and so his ideal playmate would be another dog that isn't afraid of his size and also have a rough/rowdy play style to match Malcolm's. He likes to run and wrestle with other dogs and just let loose!! He is a very good dog and with continued training and leadership he will be the best companion for any family!!
