Hi there!! My name is Lizzie, or Miss Lizzy as my foster mom calls me. I am 3 years old and just as beautiful as can be. When I came to rescue, I had been living in a place that was not good for me, and I wasn’t well taken care of. I ended up being heartworm positive, had to have some mast cell tumors removed, and a couple of my teeth pulled. Now, I know that it might seem like that this is a lot, but I am 100% healthy and looking for my forever home. I was treated for my heartworm situation, and I am completely free of those ugly little things. I had to have surgery for my mast cell tumors, but those are gone as well, and I’m fully recovered. The couple of teeth I had pulled have absolutely now effect on my life in the future, and they were removed because it was best for my long-term health. Okay, well now that all of that is taken care of, let’s get to the amazing stuff about me. I am truly enjoying my new lease on life, and I am living it to the fullest. I just love that I am finally healthy and feeling so amazing that I want to experience everything that I have been missing. Are you a snuggler??? Well, make some room for me because it’s my specialty! I absolutely love being with my people and will take any chance that I can for a good cuddle session. Are you a sucker for puppy eyes??? Well, get the treat bag ready because I know how to win the people over and get me some treats. I am so happy that when I get super excited about something my butt wiggles so fast that I just can’t contain myself. I want to have my own space when I eat, and I don’t like other dogs close to me. I have a male dog friend, and we get along great. I haven’t met a cat yet, so I’m not sure what those are about. It’s suggested that I be with kids that are a little older simply because I love to kiss, and I am a strong girl packed into this little body. My worry is that if there was a new little person learning to walk or that is small in stature, I might knock them over when giving them all of my love and that would just break my heart. I have no mean bones in me, but I just love people and want to show them how amazing I think that they are for saving me. I am potty trained and can be in my kennel with no problems and no complaints. Now, there is this thing in my house that comes out every now and then that I feel I must rid the world of. I don’t think that it’s a safe thing and my mission is to take it out every time I see it. THE VACUUM!!! Oh heavens that thing is annoying and no one should have them. I attack ours every time it comes out, but I haven’t found out how to take that beast down. Well, that’s about it for now, so if you are looking for the perfect girl to love you forever and rid your life of miserable vacuuming, I am that girl!!!
