Hi there! My name is Layla, and I'm 2! I’m sure you noticed, but yes, I am so beautiful that they wrote a song about me. My foster mom says I’m a rose-gold colored dog with pale green eyes. You can write a song about me too if you’d like. I might be perfect for you if: You think being together is the best! You think cuddling is the best! You’ve ever thought about how cute it would be if you mixed Dobby from Harry Potter with a pit bull! You’ve ever wanted a pit bull “that isn’t that big,” I’m only about 45lbs, and since I’m a short little meatball I think I qualify as a “pocket pittie.” My mom thinks I might be part cattle dog because of my fur, but I’ve got all of the best pittie features! I’m excellent on walks! I don’t pull, I don’t react to other dogs around me, and I stay right next to you. I’m generally a little couch potato, and I’m content cuddling all night as long as I’m with my people! I’m quiet as a mouse in my kennel, and I don’t mind going in there on cue. I stay in my kennel while my foster parents are at work for 8-9 hours during the week, and my foster mom says I get an A+ for kennel skills! I don’t mind sleeping in my kennel at night, but I’d love to sleep with my people! I haven’t had any accidents in the house, not even once! I am polite and don’t do any funny business in the car! Safety first! I know basic commands, and I’m very good at coming when I’m called. I live with 2 big pittie foster brothers, and we all get along great! So much play time! I also like playing with the female boxer next door through our fence! In the past someone was not very nice to me, so I prefer a slow introductions to new people until I know I can trust my people to only bring nice people around. I do well with older kids because sometimes when little kids are running around screaming I get worried that someone is in danger! I just want my family safe! I can’t be around cats or small animals because I feel the need to chase them, so it’s been decided that it’s not a good idea. My ideal family would have time for me and would include me on family adventures! I’m very good for other people when they babysit me, but I might get worried I did something wrong and they dumped me if they don’t come back for me within a few days. I probably wouldn’t be very happy if my people liked to take 2 week vacations a few times each year where I wasn’t allowed to come with. I’m just a little nugget, but I’ve got a big loving heart for my humans! So what do you say? You be my human, I’ll be your songwriting inspiration, and we'll be together forever in love!
