Meet Lambo – Your New Best Friend!

Lambo is – we are guessing – a Beagle-Pitbull mix (a BeaBull!) who is going on 6 months old. Lambo (aka Taco) doesn’t bark much and is pretty mellow for a puppy – except when he gets the zoomies! He is very cuddly and affectionate, follows his foster mom everywhere, and has been adjusting well to living with his foster family and two resident dogs.

At first he was quite scared on walks – everything made him stop dead in his tracks – cars, buses, garbage trucks, airplanes, church bells, construction vehicles, other people/dogs. But we take at least two walks every day (a couple of miles daily) and now he’s more used to all the city sounds, and learning to walk well on a leash. We try to stop and meet new people and dogs whenever we can so he’s going to be well-socialized.

He is adorable with his floppy ears and soulful puppy dog eyes, and has very soft fur. He is in the process of being crate-trained, sleeps like a rock through the night, and is well on his way to being potty trained. He has the cutest little snorting sound when he sniffs stuff – and snores just a little when he’s sleeping (usually curled up next to someone). He likes to chew on sticks outside and can’t resist the bounce of a ball or rubber toy!

He fit in with our resident dogs really well. They are teaching him the ropes. All Taco needs now is a loving forever home where he can continue to grow, play, and share his big heart.
