LADY!!!

GOOD with dogs, NO cats, GOOD with kids, NEEDS another dog in the home (male) or frequent interaction with dogs

Well hello there! Let me introduce myself. My name is Lady, and I am the lady of the manor. I am 1.8 yrs old, and I love dogs and kids. My situation is a sad one to start off with, but that is my past and all I see is my bright and amazing future. When I was just a pup, I was used as a bait dog. When I would fight and got scared and hid, I was of no use, so I was brought to a shelter. I was then rescued by an amazing family and was living a great life with my fur siblings and family. After being there for awhile, the landlord decided that it didn’t look good to have a pitbull on one of his properties and didn’t want to create a problem where others would want the same, so he said I had to go and created a breed ban list. Luckily, a family member of my human mom worked with Unbreakabull, and I was rescued by them!! The best part is that I am being fostered by this person, and so I kind of already knew her! I’ve had a journey in my short little life, but you know what, I’m doing great and loving life! I absolutely love dogs, and I love being around them. They give me confidence that everything is going to be okay, and that is why I need to be in a home with another dog, but it has to be a male dog. If it would be possible to have play dates frequently or be in an active home where I am getting outside a lot and just experiencing life, that would be something that might work as well. I just need someone to guide me on being a dog. I have shown a prey drive when it comes to other small animals such as bunnies and squirrels, so it is being recommended that I not go to a home that has cats. I am great with kids, and I love being around them. One of the things that I am working on in my home is my shyness around men. As you can imagine, my association with men was not a good one in my early stages of life, but I am doing great in my progress of this. I am never aggressive towards men, I am just very cautious and shy and take a little time to warm up. Once that happens, putty.
