Victory! My name is Kai, and I have been victorious in healing from a medical condition that nearly cost me my life. I got into something that I wasn’t supposed to eat and it caused an obstruction inside. I was getting sick, but it wasn’t understood why. When I went to the vet, it was discovered that I had a bowel obstruction and would need surgery to release it. I had the surgery, and after my recovery time, I was ready to go! I was adopted into an amazing home and truly loved by the people that were there and my fur-sibling and little human sibling, but my human sibling was getting sick and no one knew why. My little human was brought to the doctor, and through some testing it was discovered that they were very allergic to dogs; both me and my other fur-sibling. My family were so very sad, but they knew that they had to do the right thing for their little human, and so they had to find another home for my fur-sibling, and I came back to the rescue. They are so very sad, and so am I, but I understand that they had no choice, and my little human is so important to me that I didn’t want them to be sick. I am now 2 yrs and 1 month old, and I am just the happiest little man on the planet! I see the joy in a second chance at life. I love being around other dogs, I have no issues with cats, and I love being around kids and playing with them. I absolutely love going on walks, and I do great on a leash. Being outdoors is on of my favorite things! I would absolutely love someone who loves to be outside, but I would also do so amazing with someone who just wants to go for basic walks and cuddle. I’m not picky when it comes to sharing my love. I will play fetch in the yard, but I’m not too keen on bringing the ball back. I don’t want to do all the work you know. I do great at not barking, and I am house trained. I am not a fan of being in my kennel, so I will need someone who wants to work on that with me. I love chewing on my bones and playing with my toys, and I am not aggressive with them. I am a puppy in a bigger boy body, but I am as sweet as can be. It is suspected that I have some sort of intolerance to grain in my food, so I have been on a grain free diet to help with that. It’s nothing serious though, and we have just adjusted my food, and I’m doing good. I am looking for my new forever home, and I am hoping that it could be you!!
