When I saw Bloomington Animal Control post about Isaac, I was hellbent on rescuing him. He was emaciated and had a broken front leg. I brought one of my dogs to do a dog test with him and he passed with flying colors. He had ZERO reactivity to my dog and tried to initiate play through the fence. I knew he would fit in.

He has been with me now for almost three weeks. He LOVES other dogs. I currently have another foster (Webber - a 5 month old puppy) and he keeps up the non-stop play action. He also loves playing with my resident deaf dumb dumb named Blockhead. He is a very young 7-year old boy. He has such a calming presence and is a world class champion snuggler. He is still on the thin side, but he is putting on weight in a healthy weight.

He will be going in for an amputation of his front left leg as he has a broken shoulder. He was evaluated by the vet and they said that surgical repair was not a good option as they would need to re-break his leg. We were left with two options: 1) amputation or 2) leaving it alone and manage his pain with medication.
