Howdy! My name is Hammer but I keep hearing my foster mommy call me Hammie or Hamdingo. UnbreakaBull saved my life! My time on the chopping block was up but thankfully this wonderful group of people saved me! I am still very much a puppy and have loads of playful energy. My foster mom says she doesn’t think I’m going to grow much bigger. I’m a smaller dude but don’t let that fool you - I’m a little spitfire! I love other dogs and am always up for a romp in the yard with all my friends. I may be small but my foster mom tells me I act like a big dude when I’m out with all the “big guys”. I’m doing really well with potty training and my foster mom keeps me on a very structured potty schedule. I am doing great with kennel training - I’m even learning to not bolt out the door until my foster momma says “break”. I love food & am super food motivated! It’s really really hard for me but I’m starting to get pretty good at waiting for my food. I am learning e-collar training & I’m doing super well with it. I can sit and wait at doors, too! My foster mom says I always make such great eye contact. I would do great with an active family that likes to go on walks and exercise so that after I get the “zoomies” out I can crash on the couch and cuddle. It would be awesome if there were other dogs in the house to play with too! Oh, my foster mom wanted me to let you know that if you adopt me she will give you a free training lesson to keep up with the training I am starting! How cool is that?
