Hi there, my name is Eddie, but my foster mom calls me a dream boat. I’m 9 months old, and my brother and I came from Texas to find our forever families. We had a dog in our former home that was bullying us, and now we’ve gone into separate foster homes because the two of us were too much handsome for just one family. I’m going to be such a good boy in my forever home—I’m still young and playful, but I also have manners to go with these good looks. I LOVE being with my foster fur-siblings, and you can tell I like having other dogs around to show me the ropes in my new life. One of my foster fur-sisters is half of my size, so I lay on the ground and play gently with her even when she’s being annoying. I also love people and have a calm demeanor, so I would probably do well in a home that doesn’t have another dog, too. I haven’t been around any kids or cats yet, but I would probably do well with them if you just teach me what’s allowed. My foster mom says that for being so young I already know how to be a very good boy. I don’t have accidents in the house, and I walk like the perfect gentleman on my leash. Though I’m a big boy, I don’t jump, and I’m good about respecting your personal bubble. I also don’t mind my crate and I lay down right away, even though I might cry for just a few minutes just to see if you feel sorry for me. We haven’t worked on any commands yet because I’m just settling in, but I’m very treat motivated, so I’ll be happy to learn some tricks for you! I wasn’t so sure about all of this Minnesota snow at first, but now I like to bound through it and gobble up mouthfuls. I like to chew on my bones and chase balls, but you’re going to have to work on “fetch” with me because I only have it half figured out. My foster mom says I’m funny because I have long legs and I use them to prance and lope around the yard like a horse, and I do the cutest stretches—first alllll the way back, and then allllll the way forward with my legs out behind me. I basically know I’ve got this cuteness thing on overload. So whatcha think? Do you have room in your crew for a very good boy?
