Cabbage Roll is approximately 55 lbs of muscle and meat-head, but if you ask him if he knows he's a compact tank, he will tell you he's just a little lap dog. He's a simple guy with a firm belief that the best thing in life is a chew toy and sharing the couch with a good human who accepts his kisses. The human is needed for both booty pats and picking up his toy when he drops it (he will not hesitate to ask you.)

Cabbage cohabitates with multiple cats and dogs in his foster home and has done well. He largely ignores the cats, though he does have a feline friend that he likes to cuddle. Dog selectivity could be an issue for him. He has not had issues with his foster siblings and enjoys hearty play sessions with them, but he is not the type of dog to back down if he interprets another dog as a threat. Dogs that are more submissive or laid-back could be great siblings for him. He has had limited opportunity to interact with children as none live in the foster home. He did attend a family event with children between the ages of 7-15 and did well.

Cabbage Roll can be boisterous when meeting new people and will need continued practice with calm, polite greetings. This will require an owner who is physically capable of holding the leash while he pulls - again, he is a fairly strong boy. He will also need practice working through attempts to lunge towards people and dogs while on walks. No shared walls preferred as he has a loud bark. He doesn't bark terribly frequently, but will vocally communicate. He is fully potty trained. He does understand and obey the kennel command, but seems to do better when left with free roam of the house. In the kennel he displayed anxiety and attempted to break out. Out of the kennel he sleeps in his favorite recliner.
