ADOPTION FEE: $500 www.unbreakabull.com/adopt
My name is Betty.
I’m 18 weeks old and my foster mom calls me her little ray of sunshine.
She really likes me and tells me how sweet and adorable I am. I think it’s because I’m always happy and I just can’t stop wagging my tail for her. She keeps me well supplied with treats which is a good thing since I’m growing quickly. Speaking of quickly, I’m working on my manners because I eat very fast. My foster parents even got me a special “puzzle” dish that slows me down and helps me avoid the hiccups.
I should also let you know that I get along very well with my foster parent’s two four-legged siblings. Their Sr. dog pretty much ignores me unless I sneak up and surprise him, then he gets a little mad with me. I’ve learned that it’s best to leave him alone. Their younger teenage dog really likes me though and we play together and spend a lot of time running around outside. Speaking of outside, they take me there all the time, like every 20 minutes! And my foster dad cheers me on like a European soccer fan every time I squat down. The best part is every time this happens they give me more treats, so I like to squat outside, can you believe that?
Something special happened the last couple of days; even though I’m still pretty young we figured out that I really love to get out and go for a walk. I started slowly, there were just so many new sights, sounds, and smells that I had to take it all in and think about things. I hope whoever adopts me likes going for walks as much as I do, then we can enjoy them together. When I’m outside or walking I often have the opportunity to meet new people. I even played with my foster parent’s neighbor kids. They’re pretty young like 2 and 4 years old. We got along great and ran around a lot together. I like kids and I know they like me, can you believe that?
I hope you don’t think I’m bragging too much about myself because I’m not perfect, I am still a puppy. I do like to chew on things and noticed all the shoes in the house have magically disappeared, but in their place, I’ve found all sorts of new toys that I can chew on. I did squat a couple of times in the house the first couple of days and my foster parents would scoop me up and take me outside real fast, but that hasn’t happened in a while. I hope you like me as much as I’ll love you, and we can meet sometime.
Thanks, Betty!
