Bentley is a smart, sweet, and happy puppy with a wonderful personality and is eager to please. He’s a great listener for his age and responds well to correction. He already knows basic commands like “sit” and “down,” understands the word “no,” and is currently working on “stay”—especially when treats are involved (which he absolutely loves). He’s very treat-motivated, making training both fun and rewarding.

He plays hard and sleeps hard, and when he’s tired, he’ll either curl up in his dog bed or happily kennel himself. He sleeps soundly through the night in his kennel, has never had a single potty accident in it, and does great even when his favorite “treat dealer” is away. He has a healthy appetite and goes right into his kennel to eat without being asked. He is almost fully housebroken, making him easy to manage for his future family.

Playtime is one of his favorite things. He loves toys of all kinds—stuffies, balls, chew toys, and bones—and he also enjoys belly rubs. As long as he has toys, he’s good about not chewing on other things. He would thrive in a home with another playful dog or one that can provide plenty of playtime. He previously enjoyed romping around with his older foster brother and would love a canine companion again.

He currently lives with four cats—two friendly and two not-so-much—and does an excellent job respecting boundaries. He thinks he's a tough guy and tries to initiate play by pawing at them, but he understands when his kitty brothers are done and backs off appropriately. This boy is ready to bring so much joy, laughter, and love to his future family.
