There is a quote at the end of a pretty famous movie called Dirty Dancing where the actor says, “Nobody puts Baby in the corner.” and he takes her to the stage to shine. Well, that’s me!!! Well, I can’t dance that I’m aware of, but now is my time to shine. Let me tell you a little about me. I am a 3 year old Presa Canario, which is like a Mastiff, and I am so beautiful!! When I came to the shelter I was scared, and all I did was hide in the corner. I wasn’t sure what was happening, and I ended up getting put on the euthanasia list because I was so scared and it was coming across as me not being nice. That wasn’t the case at all! I just didn’t understand all the noises and sounds and where I was. Someone from UnbreakaBULL came to see me, saw something amazing, and took their time with me. They took me out of my kennel and guess what, I BEGAN TO SHINE!!! I am so sweet and lovable, but I am a strong minded girl, and I am going to be a big girl in size. I should be the only dog in the house because I am learning that not everyone likes when I correct them, and I can tend to get a little bossy, so I need someone that won’t let that happen with me. My human needs to be the boss 100% of the time and make sure that I am aware of that. I get along with dogs when I am out and about like on a walk, but I tend to pull when I see another dog walking by. I will need someone that can reign me in and make sure that I can learn to be a proper girl on walks. When I am in the house, I am as cool as a cucumber, and I want to be with my people. I just want to love on them and not share. I am potty trained and crate trained as well! The home that I go to will need a privacy fence simply because if I can see other dogs walking by I will run the fenceline barking at them and trying to chase them. While I continue to learn how to do the dance of freedom and work on my obedience skills, please head over and fill out my application if you want to be my dance partner for life.
