Astrid may be tiny, but this sweet foster pup is already full of charm, sass, and impressive puppy accomplishments!

At just 12 weeks old, she’s rocking her nightly kennel routine—she sleeps soundly through the night (and yes, she snores like a full‑grown man… it’s adorable). She knows the commands: sit, shake, kennel up, and come. We are working on "lay down" and "leave it."

She’s also doing a remarkable job with potty training. When she’s got more “business” to finish outside, she’ll give the leash a determined little tug to let you know she’s not done yet and needs to keep sniffing to find the right spot to finish up!

During the day, Astrid is working hard on increasing her kennel time and learning that naps are good, even when she’d rather be exploring. S

he absolutely loves to cuddle and be held, soaking up all the warmth she can. Cold weather? Not her favorite. A cute sweater? Very much her favorite… until she realizes sweaters can double as toys.

She also thoroughly enjoys ripping off her 70-pound, 1-year-old Great Dane/Boxer brother's sweater. Astrid has a mischievous streak too—her top hobby is stealing shoes (especially slippers). She’ll happily trade them back for hugs and kisses, though, because hugs and kisses are her love language. She will even cuddle inside the body curve of her brother, pushing her way as close as possible for ultimate closeness.

Even though she’s small, Astrid holds her own wrestling with her 70‑pound Great Dane/Boxer brother. She’s brave, confident, playful and knows exactly when it’s time to switch from “snuggle mode” to “zoomie mode.” And once the zoomies hit, she’ll let you know it’s time to PLAY. Astrid is a perfect mix of cuddly, goofy, smart, and spirited. She’s ready to bring tons of love—and probably a stolen slipper or two—to her forever home.
