Andee is a 10-month-old bundle of energy and love. He loves playing fetch and doing a little dance (spins and tippy taps) when his dinner is on its way. Andee has worked really hard on potty training and now gives a little warning, whether he runs to the door, whines, or gives you a little tap, to let you know he’s gotta go!

Andee loves treats, and sits to get them (most of the time). Andee does well in his kennel during the day while foster mom is at work. He has not had accidents in the kennel for two months despite foster mom’s schedule some days. Andee is a loving boy, who snuggles like a champ and can be a little heating pad too. Although Andee loves to play, he also loves to relax and watch TV (no joke). Foster mom leaves the TV on during the day while she is at work (usually the True Crime Network). Andee does have some anxiety related to storms. The thunder and lightning are kind of scary. He just needs to be near you and have reassurance that everything is okay. He has not been destructive and if a storm comes through when foster mom isn’t home, he has done well in his kennel.

Andee loves playing with his foster siblings and does a little warrior cry when playing. It’s pretty cute. Andee met a young boy at one of the adoption events and did so well with him, letting the boy walk him around on leash. He does well with both males and females (dogs and humans). Andee has not had experiences with cats yet, but I’m sure he’d love to play if he met them! Some of Andee’s favorite things:

• Fetch with anything you can throw

• Treats of all kinds

• Snuggling up for a good nap

• Playing with his foster sister, Maya (a german shepherd mix)

• Chewing on chew toys

• A good butt scratch
