Hello world! My name is Abbott. I came to rescue with my brother Costello after we had been surrendered to a shelter together by our previous owner. I am 8 months old, and I am a spunky little boy! I guess you could say that I think that I am quite the comedian ;) I am an energetic puppy that has recently found my voice and LOVES to voice his opinion on every leaf, squirrel, bird, and person. I am best friends with my foster fur sibling Tillie, and we are very affectionate towards one another, though I maintain a respectful distance with my male foster fur brother Tater. I LOVE food and am very treat motivated. I know sit, and I am working on shake. I am not a fan of my kennel and I will cry when I have to go in there, so we are working on that. For now, I get to stay in the living room with Tillie for bedtime, and I behave really well. I am not a destructive boy and have done no damage to my house I.e. carpet, walls, wood, couch. I am not a mouthy boy at all. I love cuddling with a blanket. I love to play outside in the backyard and observe everything from birds to leaves. I also like to eat dirt occasionally because I think that I am silly. I get told no all the time for this, so now it becomes a game, but I don’t do it a lot. I love to snuggle, and I just learned how to kiss. My favorite way of showing affection is standing and giving a hug. I do well on walks and am a typical happy, squirrel chasing dog. Due to my extreme interest in squirrels, cats are not an option for me because I will want to chase them. I love to observe when people are cooking in the kitchen hoping to get some food that happens to fall on the floor, but it’s mostly because I like to be around my humans. I really am such an easy going, really laid back guy. I am going to do a lots more growing, and I am going to be a bigger boy, so I am going to need someone who can be firm with me, yet gentle and loving and keep me following the rules. I am completely potty trained, and I ask to go outside by sitting by the door. If you are looking for an all around chill guy to enhance your life, then I am your man!!!
