Sara Romdenne (Founder & Executive Director) Hey I’m Sara the Executive Director! I started in rescue 10 years ago and have fostered about 100 Pit Bulls. I got into rescue because of my soul mate dog Jag who tragically passed away. He showed me the truth. He was everything. Every day I visit shelters in the Twin Cities and I work so hard to save our local Pit Bulls on death row. This is what I do. I live rescue. I will not stop until there are no more dogs to save. Educate. Advocate. Rescue.

Maddy Bland (Executive Veterinary Manager & Board Member) I am very excited to be part of the UBPBR team. I’ve worked with several wonderful foster based rescues over the past few years, but my passion lies within rescuing and advocating for local bullies. As the Veterinary Coordinator for UnbreakaBULL Pit Bull Rescue of MN, I make sure all of our bullies are fully vetted prior to adoption, and I’m the primary contact for all injury/illness needs for the rescue. I have four rescue dogs that are the loves of my life – we can’t wait to help you find your new best friend.

Jaclyn Heim (Events Coordinator) I started in rescue in 2015 when I adopted my best friend Kiwi. I wanted to be the best human mom to him possible. He helped me foster over 20 dogs before we adopted his fur sister Isabella. Rescue is my mission and my passion in life. I love adoption events and helping dogs find loving homes. “Be a voice for the voiceless” is my rescue motto.

Maria (Public Relations Coordinator) I got involved in rescue because I saw a picture of a Pit Bull that was having a rough time in a shelter. She looked so sad and the image of a dog shutting down in a shelter sparked my passion for giving at risk Pit Bulls a chance at their happy ever after. After adopting two pitties of my own, I want to once again focus on being a stepping stone on their journey to their forever home.

Janika (Administration coordinator) What got me involved was after I had lost two of my own dogs. I wanted to foster to help save the lives of other dogs while finding the right fit for my future dog.

Terri Brown (Adoption and Foster Coordinator) My name is Terri and I have a 1 year old blue nose Pit Bull baby named Azure. Dogs have always been a part of my life. My baby girl made me fall in love with the breed and I am so proud to be part of an amazing rescue and cause.
